Josh Howard went 4-for-16 in Game 1, including 0-for-8 in the second half with seven of those misses coming in the third quarter. Howard's had some back issues and a recent bruised right knee, but before the series he proclaimed himself 100-percent healthy and Avery Johnson also said he didn't feel Howard was having any physical problems.
"I don't think he's having any problems physically," Johnson said. "He missed a couple of his little floaters that he nomally makes. It's one game and if it continues as a trend then we'll become alarmed and concerned. Right now, we know he'll be in a bounce-back mode for the next game and we're looking to get better production across the board."
