After the big win over the Warriors, Jason Terry said the Mavericks had weathered the storm of bad things happening and now could concentrate on sailing through calmer waters. On Friday, Avery Johnson was asked if he believed that the Mavs had indeed weathered the storm.
His reply?
"We weathered one storm and another is coming tonight in the form of the Lakers and Kobe Bryant. That's the one thing about storm, they tend to keep on coming. We've had a tought time, it's well documented, over the last two or three weeks. But, the main things, like I told the guys, we're in a new month, new opportunities and we still have a chance to have a stong end to our season."
