Jason Terry scored 30 points in regular-season finale against the Hornets. Not that he has to score 30 in every game for the Mavs to win this series, but he'll be important as long as the Hornets insist on double-teaming Dirk Nowitzki and forcing someone else to beat them.
Coming off the bench, Terry said his role is "instant offense, instant energy."
"My job is to come out and compete hard on both ends of the floor and provide that spark. When tempo is not quite how we like it, I'm the role runner, I'm the guy that's going to come in and turn the jets up."
