Josh Howard went through his first full practice with the team Monday since spraining his left ankle during the Nov. 18 game at Charlotte.
While that's a positive step for Howard, who's missed the past five games, he remains uncertain if he'll be able to play Tuesday night against the Clippers, the start of a seven-game homestand.
"I'm hoping to come back tomorrow," Howard said. "Like I say, I'll see how it [the ankle] reacts today. I'm right there."
Howard said just like any sprain, the ankle ached after practice, but he holds out hope it will react positively.
"Just pray to God it doesn't swell up this evening and see it goes tomorrow," Howard said.
Howard is averaging 20.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in nine games.
