Bet you didn't think you'd see that at the half, ay? OK, well, I didn't think I'd see that, anyway. Nowitzki's been his typical great self, while two of the Celtics' big three, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, have been battling foul trouble (both have three entering the second half.
The Celtics have a big points-in-the-paint edge (26-12), but the Mavs have been better in drawing contact and converting 14 of 16 at the line. Like I said earlier about the defense, methinks the coach's halftime verbal assault will be a lot calmer tonight. Forty points to the defending champs is just a tad better than 57 to an 11-win Sacramento team.
