Not much Mav-related tonight

The Mavericks are waiting to see how a couple of bigger expiring contracts shake down before they can start seeing if there's a decent market for Jerry Stackhouse's deal.

Tonight, there's not much going on, except that many teams are trying to see what happens with Portland and Raef LaFrentz's $12-million-plus expiring contract.

Interestingly, that's the deal the Mavericks originally signed LaFrentz to.

For now, the Mavericks will bide their time until Wednesday, when things figure to be hot and heavy. --Eddie Sefko
