Gerald Green had an effective stay in the game. And in regard to how coincidental it looked that he played significant minutes in the game after his agent cruised through town, it should also be noted that Josh Howard and Antoine Wright had two quick fouls.
Anyway, Green even dished out a nice pass during his 10-minute stint.
It should be noted, too, that Green was running the wing on a classic two-on-one fast break. One problem, however. Instead of Jason Kidd running with him, it was James Singleton. And Singleton had to know that the play to make was to dish off to Green for what no doubt would have been an acrobatic dunk.
Instead, Singleton kept the ball and ended up getting an offensive foul.
