Strange absentee

It may mean nothing, but there has been no sign of Jerry Stackhouse in the house tonight.

He's the trade chip the Mavericks have that numerous teams desire. But some of them want the swingman only for his contract, which has only $2 million guaranteed next season.

Still haven't heard anything of substance regarding the Mavericks and trade talks tonight. Most likely, Stack's absence is probably just a coincidence, but it sure looks a little fishy. --Eddie Sefko
