This could be a technical knockout

The first quarter has been a technical foul festival.

All the refs and several players and coaches have gotten into the act.

Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles got it going for arguing a foul called on one of his players, then Antoine Wright, Josh Howard and coach Rick Carlisle all got techs in the final 3:27 of the quarter.

It didn't stop the Mavericks from going up 33-23. They hit nine of their last 13 shots in the period and survived a 19-point quarter by Charlie Villanueva.
