Just as fast as they looked like weak sisters, the Mavericks are suddenly looking very manly.
A 16-zip surge has putt hem ahead 23-15 and it's the work of the "tough team'' that has gotten them the lead. That would be the fivesome of Brandon Bass, James Singleton, Josh Howard, Jason Kidd and Antoine Wright.
If the Mavericks have a group that will take no guff from anybody, thiis is it.
