Yahoo! Sports reports a proposed deal, which isn’t imminent, between the Dallas Mavericks and New Jersey Nets would send Vince Carter, Keyon Dooling and former Mavericks energy guy Eduardo Najero to the Mavericks for Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse.
Whadda ya think, sports fans? Does this work? Is it time to let Josh Howard go?
This looks like a great move on paper. However, it would eliminate any run at 2010, because Carter's hefty contract continues past that. Moreover, the Mavs would get that much older without any plausible replacements for Carter or Kidd, and no draft pics to get them.
