Cavs' defense rules the day

The Mavericks are an ugly 2-for-11 in the third quarter.

Dirk Nowitzki just made a 15-footer to get the Mavericks off of 54 points, where they've been for what seems like an eternity.

But LeBron just stuck a 3-pointer with 1 second left on the shot clock. It's the third time in the quarter that the Cavaliers have hit a long jumper just as the shot clock was expiring.

That's about the difference right now.

The biggest concern for Cleveland is LeBron James, who hit the deck late in the third quarter after running into one of the referees. He's fine, still in the game wreaking havoc on the Mavericks.
