Jason Kidd said less than an hour ago that his lower back is feeling much better.
"I feel great and look forward to playing tomorrow,'' he said. "I have plans to play.''
That's good news. The bad news is that he will have to play against Cleveland, which is 34-1 at home.
Kidd missed Friday's game against Denver to rest his back. It's nothing serious, he said. But the extra time off -- it was the first game he's missed all season -- should do wonders for him considering the way minutes have piled up this season for him.
"I think being able to get a little rest always helps,'' he said. "It was nothing serious, so I thought coach giving me some time to rest can only help.''
