James Singleton deserved the technical foul he got Sunday for slapping both hands on the backboard after a dunk.
But he didn't deserve the one he just got against the Thunder.
Singleton threw down a terrific dunk on an ultra-fast break and to keep himself from busting his proverbial tail, he hung onto the rim just long enough to regain his balance.
That's not supposed to be a technical foul, as I understand it. If it has to do with protecting yourself from either a bad fall or players who are underneath you, that's supposed to be allowed.
