The spoilers are waiting

When the Mavericks started this trip, everybody thought they could go 1-3, with the one victory being Friday night against the Golden State Warriors.

Now that the Mavericks are 2-0 after wins at Phoenix and Portland, the game against Don Nelson's team has changed somewhat.

It's not longer the game the Mavericks figured to win.

It's a trap game.

They're all giddy about the way they've played the last two games, but that's exactly the time when you tend to overlook an opponent like the Warriors, who are headed to the lottery and have lost six of their last eight.

You know Nellie is going to mess with the Mavericks and give them a good game. It wouldn't be surprising at all if this game was even tougher than the two before on this trip.
