There are reports leaking out from international outlets that Japanese point guard Yuta Tabuse will be invited to the Mavericks' summer camp.
This won't be the first time Tabuse has tried to make the Mavericks' roster. He was worked out a few years back but never stuck.
He remains the only Japanese player to play in an NBA game, having appeared in a few for the Los Angeles Lakers a couple years back.
If true, this is another sign that the Mavericks are turning over every stone in attempts to find some point-guard help in the event that Jason Kidd bolts to another team in free-agency or via a sign-and-trade.
