Nene is the new Shaq

Nene, the one-name center for the Nuggets, is blistering the Mavericks with 16 points on eight-of-12 shooting.

The dude looks unstoppable on pick-and-rolls and when he slides seemingly unnoticed behind would-be defenders - who are mostly won't-be defenders at this point.

The Mavericks don't want to have Nene going off quite like this, but it does keep their 3-point shooters from finding any sort of rhythm. The Mavericks are two points down with 2:31 left before the half.

If they can stay within this range before the intermission, they'll be in great shape.
