There's a report out there that the Spurs' pursuit of Richard Jefferson has come to fruition with the trade of Fabricio Oberto, Bruce Bowen and Kurt Thomas.
Can't imagine that's all there is to this deal, of which details can be found at: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4281291.
In fact, I've heard other rumblings regarding the Bucks. But more about that as the day unfolds. There are going to be lots of rumors now that the first domino appears to have fallen.
Milwaukee, by the way, would save more than $16 million in this deal, by the way, the first of many teams that will put cents before sense this summer.
As for the Spurs, Jefferson is the kind of dynamic offensive player who will make life even easier for Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, and give them insurance in case Manu Ginobili has advanced into perennial injury-plagued status.
