The Mavericks aren't the only ones sweating out an injury to a player.
While they wait to find out what exactly is wrong with Tim Thomas' knee, the San Antonio Spurs found out Tuesday that Richard Jefferson suffered a dislocated right thumb in a workout at the Spurs' facility.
X-rays were negative, but the Spurs are going to wait a week for another test before determining a timetable for Jefferson's return.
The Spurs traded for Jefferson from Milwaukee this summer.
