For the first time in weeks, James Singleton is seeing meaningful action.
He got teased near the end of the first quarter when Rick Carlisle put him in for Dirk Nowitzki, then took him out just 10 seconds later when Nowitzki went back in on an offensive possession.
But the 6-8 Singleton started the second quarter, got a dunk and has been aggressive at both ends.
So far, only Matt Carroll has yet to play among those Mavericks suited up.
While Carlisle thinks only in 12-minute increments, he may have in the back of his mind that he's going to need as many fresh bodies as possible tomorrow in Cleveland.
BTW, the Mavs lead 42-33.
