Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said that point guard Jason Kidd will be back in the lineup tonight against Milwaukee after missing the team's 50-point win at New York on Sunday because he was tending to a personal matter.
Also, the Mavericks expect center Erick Dampier to play tonight against the Bucks as well after he, too, missed the New York game. Dampier was out because of a left knee injury. Kidd and Dampier went through the shoot-around this morning at the AAC.
"Damp is doing OK," Carlisle said. "We'll see where we're at tonight."
Carlisle has said he worries about players going in and out of the lineup because of injuries or whatever and that's a concern with Dampier as well.
"Yeah, but we're doing what we can from a medical standpoint to address it and manage it," Carlisle said. "We're kind of day-to-day on it, but he's making some progress and we're trying to knock that thing out of there."
