At 13-7 at the American Airlines Center this season, the Mavericks are tied with Houston with the fifth-fewest home victories in the Western Conference so far. Nine Western Conference teams have more home wins this year than the Mavericks. The Mavericks finished the regular season last year 32-9 at home.
Forward Drew Gooden, coming off a very productive road trip, said that one thing that could help the Mavericks play better at home is for the fans to be more vocal at the AAC.
"We need more energy. Not only from us, but we need more energy from our fans," Gooden said. "We need everybody together as one in this building to make it tough for our opponents whenever they come to play in Dallas.
"It's a lot of our responsibility. But at the same time, our fans can help. Even if they have to boo us when we're not playing right, we need something going on. We need to hear something. It does start with us, but the fans could help out also."
What says you, the fans? Have the fans been loud enough at the AAC this year?
