There are plenty of them to be had at every NBA All-Star game, and I just had mine.
First, I saw Bob Lanier. Now other than the obvious great moment of seeing a Hall of Famer, I have a personal stake in this. I'm a St. Bonaventure graduate (Class o' '95), and we sports-minded Bonnies are forever grateful for Lanier's work at SBU, especially that 1970 team that made it to the Final Four (ah, if not for his ankle injury, what might have been).
My other brush? Right after seeing Lanier, Arnold Swarzenegger passed me in the corridor leading to the court.
If you count me just seeing Bill Russell walk across the court, there's brush No. 3. But I was up close and personal to the other two, so they count more.
