Our good friends at Bodog.com have placed odds on where LeBron James will end up next season and it sounds like the wise-guys know something (as usual).
They have installed the Cavaliers as heavy, heavy, heavy favorites to retain James. And as we have maintained all along, if the Cavaliers win the title, he has no choice but to stay.
Interesting, however, that the Mavericks made the short list.
So here's the list of teams with their odds to gain LeBron's services, or at least who he'll be playing for in his first game of the 2010-11 season.
Cleveland Cavaliers.......1/3
New York Knicks...........3/1
New Jersey Nets...........10/1
Dallas Mavericks..........25/1
Miami Heat................35/1
Chicago Bulls.............40/1
Los Angeles Clippers......40/1
Olympiakos S.F.P..........100/1
Any Other Team............18/1

With Cuban's long record of striking out with big name free agents, its only fans in fantasyland that give that speculation and real credibility.
If, oh man if, only Cuban was as good at landing free agents as he was at promising he will under the NEXT rainbow down the line.
