No surprise with Atlanta's tactics

As mentioned here days ago, Joe Johnson is very likely to
get a maximum contract.
Does he deserve it?
Probably not. But in this marketplace, he’s likely to
get that sort of love from somebody. The question has to be whether the Mavericks
want to be that somebody.
It’s going to be interesting going forward, because I
get the feeling that Johnson wouldn’t mind a change of venue.
