Summer league starts in an hour

The Mavericks just made their way into Cox Pavilion on the
campus of Nevada-Las Vegas. They’ll play Denver in the first game o the
10-day extravaganza, at which every personnel guy and coach worth his salt is
hanging around and eyeing talent.
 
We’ll be giving blow-by-blow updates of the Mavericks’
game when it gets rolling.
 
Meanwhile, Donnie Nelson is finishing up details on the
Brendan Haywood and Dirk Nowitzki contracts and expects to land in Vegas later
today.
