Crowd better than expected

What are these people thinking?
 
With the Rangers up 1-0 and high-school football in ull
swing tonight, nobody with the Mavericks was expecting much of a crowd at AAC,
but the arena has more people in it than anybody could have reasonably
expected.
 
It’s still probably only half full, but it’s a
lot better than what some people feared.
 
Maybe there’s more basketball fans in this town than
we all think. Or at least enough people that couldn’t care less about
baseball.
 
By the way, Rockets’ coach Rick Adelman is under the
weather and will not sit on the bench.
