No problem for Jet

Jason Terry will be at practice Tuesday after an afternoon
visit to the doctor Monday.
 
A team official said that Terry was at most of the Monday
workout, then left for his doctor’s appointment.
 
The Mavericks’ final practice before the regular
season begins will be Tuesday morning and coach Rick Carlisle has put a big
emphasis on getting off to a fast start. Terry is obviously a big part of that.
He will either start at shooting guard or play his usual role as sixth man.
 
“We have 17 of 26 games at home to start the season,’’
he said. “So we need to set a tone.’’
