Mavericks playing the Spurs' style

Who’d have ever thought that would be the case and we’d
be talking about a high-scoring affair.
 
The Spurs had 16 points with just over two minutes to go in
the opening quarter.
 
Then they had 25 points with just over one minute to go in
the period.
 
Quick 3-pointers put them back on a hot offensive pace and
the Mavericks are struggling to keep pace, although they have surged ahead
35-33 early in the second frame.
 
Interesting side note: Jason Terry shot a technical foul
free throw while Dirk Nowitzki was in the game, maybe showing that the
Mavericks are going to let him be the designated shooter on techs until
Nowitzki irons out his free-throw stroke.
