Mavericks should beware the free throws tonight

Rick Carlisle hit on a cogent point in his pregame address
when he talked about Houston’s free-throw shooting.
 
“In their wins, they average 35 free throws and in
their losses, they average 20,’’ he said.
 
Actually, it’s 36 and 19, but who’s counting.
 
The point is that if the Rockets stroll to the line in a
relentless procession tonight, it’s going to be a lot tougher on the
Mavericks.
 
Then again, the way they play at home, it’ll probably
be tough either way.
