Scanning the box score to bring you every possible stench
that is wafting up from Friday night’s loss to the Bulls.
35—The number of rebounds Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson
combined for.
34—The number of rebounds the nine Mavericks who
played combined for.
59-34—The final rebounding numbers.
20-9—The offensive rebounding numbers, also in favor
of the Bulls, in case you were wondering.
0-7—J.J. Barea’s shooting, bringing him to
2-of-20 in the last two games.
15—The number of field goals made by Dirk Nowitzki.
15—The number of field goals made by the rest of the
Mavericks.
42—Bulls’ points in the paint.
26—Mavericks’ points in the paint.
2—Maverick scorers in double figures.
5—Bulls scorers in double figures.
We could go on, but you probably get the point by now. This
was a despicable showing by the Mavericks in many ways. They were humiliated on
the boards and were beaten by a team that didn’t have a single fast-break
point.
Zero.
Pathetic.
And, as always, we’re always happy here at the blog to
provide a Lynyrd Skynyrd reference.
