Frantic pace in the early going

You will be hard-pressed to see a better exchange of
possessions than what just happened in the first quarter between the Mavericks
and Spurs.
 
First, Tony Parker picked Jason Kidd’s pocket.
 
Then Kidd blocked Parker’s breakaway layup.
 
Tyson Chandler hustled back and flew on the ground to know
the ball away from Parker and the Mavericks got it to Kidd, who found Brian
Cardinal for a 3-pointer.
 
It was a beautiful set of plays by both teams.
 
Cardinal, by the way, got the start for Dirk Nowitzki
