DALLAS _ With a solid showing during Wednesday's 109-100 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks signed forward Sasha Pavlovic to a second 10-day contract this morning.
Pavlovic started against the Lakers and tallied 11 points on 5 of 7 shooting and also picked up three rebounds in 24 minutes. He also played effectively on defense, even though he was playing with a mask to protect the nose he broke in Monday's game against Detroit.
The Mavs signed Pavlovic to his orginal 10-day contract on Jan. 10. In five games with Dallas, the seven-year veteran averaged 4.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game.
