DALLAS _ This is how far the social networking sites have come in a short period of time.
Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry was commenting this morning about the Utah Jazz trading All-Star point guard Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets. Terry then said of the Jazz:
“I don’t care if John Stockton and Karl Malone came out here tonight,’’ Terry said. “We’re hungry, we’ve been off for six days, and we want to play somebody.
“We’re just excited for the challenge tonight.’’
Terry and everyone else around him laughed. Then Terry said:
""I know they're going to put that on Twitter. Stockton and Malone coming out of retirement.''
Terry was right. The comment is already on Twitter.
