Lakers show their resolve against Mavericks

The
Lakers said after Thursday’s blowout of the Mavericks that the hard foul
Jason Terry put on Steve Blake was something they could not tolerate.

 

“They’re
not going to come into our house and throw us around,” Matt Barnes said.

 

Said
Blake about his brush with Terry: “He pushed me. I don’t like to be
pushed.”

 

And then, of course, there was Phil Jackson, who seemed rather
amused by it all.

 

“There was no fight,” he said. “They were two
cock-roosters bumping chests. Just some pushing and shoving going on.”
