PORTLAND, Ore. _ Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban said he
was hit in the face with an object that was thrown from the stands during the
fourth quarter of Thursday night’s loss to Portland.
The incident happened with 6:56 to go in the game. During a
timeout, Cuban drew the ire of Blazers’ fans and it was clear that there
was some dialogue going on. It’s not uncommon for Cuban to interact with
fans, but this was different.
“Somebody hit me in the face,’’ Cuban said
after the game. “Somebody threw something and it hit me.’’
Cuban was not hurt and said security was doing a good job of
making sure the Mavericks were not in harm’s way.
Cuban declined to say anything further about getting hit by
a thrown object.

Nobody should be hit with anything, but if anyone was ever asking to have stuff thrown at him it was Cuban tonight. If you turn around like a WWF wrestler taunting a crowd, you're asking for a drunk to throw something at you.

LOL, I'm surprised that this is the first time somebody has thrown something at his face. Being an Team Owner and act like a clown behind your players is not the right way. Glad some drunk gave him what he deserves. Stop acting like a 2 year old girl and you will be respected like other professional team owners.
