DALLAS _ If the Dallas Mavericks wind up with Vince Carter, guard Jason Terry believes the 14-year veteran could be a natural in the Mavs’ offense.
“Because our system dictates the way we play, then I think he fits in great, because one, he can drive and he can shoot,’’ Terry said. “In our system it’s a flow type game, and he plays well in those situations.
“I think his experience, his knowledge of the game and his ability fits right in. It won’t be a situation where chemistry will be bad. He’s a great guy, I’ve been around him, hung out with him, and he’s a good dude.’’
Carter could arrive in Dallas either Sunday or Monday. And if a deal can be consummated, he may be on the practice court by Tuesday.
