Don't look now, but Shawn Marion is a blonde

DALLAS _ Shawn Marion showed up for voluntary workouts this morning at American Airlines Center sporting a new look.

The Dallas Mavericks' small forward is now a blonde.

Marion dyed his hair over the summer -- sometimes after the Mavs beat the Miami Heat for their first NBA title. His hair is also crunched up in the middle with a spike look.

 Marion blamed the change of hairstyles on the NBA lockout, which lasted 149 days.

"I just dyed it a little bit, that's all,'' Marion said. "When you've got a lot of time on your hands you do different things.''
