DALLAS _ That 0-2 record the Dallas Mavericks have started this season off with has been the talk all over talk radio and on national TV shows.
Are some people overreacting a bit too much about the defending NBA champions misdeeds?
“I don’t know about some people, I know what we’re studying as a staff,’’ coach Rick Carlisle said. “I know what we’re communicating to our players and the message is going to be consistent.
“It’s going to start with defense and persistence and being in a stance and being able to finish off possessions with rebounds. We’re going to keep working and we’re going to get better.’’
By the way, the Mavs started the 2006-'07 season 0-4, then went 67-11 the rest of the way to finish the season with an NBA-best 67-15 record.
