DALLAS _ So he can at least get some playing time and continue honing his skills, Dominique Jones has been assigned by the Dallas Mavericks to the Texas Legends of the D-League.
Jones averaged just 1.9 points and 0.9 rebounds in only four minutes per game this season while shooting 40 percent from the field.
In 10 games last year for the Legends, Jones averaged 18.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 37.5 minutes per game.
