NEW YORK _ New York Knicks coach Mike D'Antonio knew once Dirk Nowitzki got himself in good physical condition, the Dallas Mavericks were going to be difficult to contend with.
"You knew they were going to get it together,'' D'Antoni said after Saturday's practice session. "Dirk's got his legs, and they're good.
"They had a great win last night in Philadelphia, so they have no surprises.''
'The Mavs (20-11) and Knicks (15-16) will face each other at noon Sunday at Madison Square Garden. Dallas has won a season-high six straight games, while the Knicks have won seven of their last eight games.
