DALLAS --Lamar Odom said he never played anything but power forward when he played the past seven seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Unfortunately for Odom, Dirk Nowitzki has that power forward spot all locked up for the Dallas Mavericks. But as Odom struggles to locate his offensive game for the Mavs, it was Nowitzki who came up with a valid solution.
"We’ve got to put him in spots where he can succeed,'' Nowitzki said. "I think at (small forward), we need to post him up some and really exploit some of the mismatches he brings, because he’s so versatile.’’
