DALLAS -- Shawn Marion missed this morning's shootaround at American Airlines Center while nursing a sore left knee.
However, the Dallas Mavericks' small forward is expected to play in tonight's 8 p.m. game against the San Antonio Spurs
"Game time decision,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "We want to make sure he's right.''
Marion is the Mavs' best defender, and has spent the balance of this season guarding many of the opposing team's speedy point guards.
