Dirk Nowitxki scored 27 points to lead the Mavs to a 106-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night at the American Airlines Center. The victory gives the Mavs a clean 3-0 sweep of this brief homestand. Also, the Mavs (26-20) moved within four-and-a-half games of the first place Spurs (29-14) in the Southwest Division.
Other than Nowitzki, the Mavs got 17 points from Jason Terry, 16 from Rodrigue Beaubois, 14 points and 10 assists from Jason Kidd, and 10 points from Vince Carter.
