DALLAS -- No New Jersey Nets' NBA team was more successful than the ones Jason Kidd were a part of.
In 2002 and '03, Kidd led the Nets to back-to-back appearances in the NBA Finals. Unfortunately, the Nets were swept by the Los Angeles Lakers in four games in the '02 Finals, and lost to the San Antonio Spurs in six games in the '03 Finals.
So, when the Nets played their last game in New Jersey this past Monday during a 105-87 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers before making the move next season to Brooklyn, N.Y., Kidd wasn't exactly thrilled about the prospects.
"I think it's unfortunate, but it's business,'' Kidd said. "I wish the Nets the best in Brooklyn.
"Maybe somewhere down the line they'll get a team back in Jersey.''
