DALLAS -- Lamar Odom looked out of sorts on the Dallas Mavericks' bench Friday night in Orlando. And with good reason.
Odom was running a temperature of 102, and that led to him scoring just two points and grabbing only two rebounds in 13 minutes against the Magic after he pieced together back-to-back quality games against Houston and Miami.
Odom came to practice Sunday, but was quickly sent home for the Mavs, and his status for Monday's home game against the Los Angeles Clippers remains in doubt.
"We'll see where he is tomorrow,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "He had a fever the other night.
"He tried to play with a 102 fever, which was probably not a good idea. But I loved the fact that he wanted to play.''
