Beaubois will miss Barcelona game

Dallas Mavericks guard Rodrigue Beaubois will not play in Tuesday's game in Barcelona, Spain, against FC Barcelona Regal.

Beaubois sprained his left ankle in the third quarter of this past Saturday's 89-84 preseason-opening victory over Alba Berlin in Berlin, Germany. After the game, Beaubois wore a protective boot.

However, he is no longer wearing the boot, which is a sign of progress.

"Twisted ankles are just part of the game,'' general manager Donnie Nelson said. "No major setback at all.''
