Carlisle said it doesn't matter between Howard and Bynum

LOS ANGELES – As far as playing against Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum is concerned, it doesn’t really make a difference to Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle.

 “Howard is one of the best players on the planet,’’ Carlisle said after this morning’s shootaround at Loyola Marymount University. “Bynum is an All-Star, too.

“Either way if you’re trying to pick which one you’d rather play against, it’s not a very fun choice.’’

The Mavs will be going against Howard and the Los Angeles Lakers at 9:30 tonight at the Staples
Center. Meanwhile, the Lakers traded Bynum to the Philadelphia 76ers over the offseason.
