DALLAS -- The only personal challenge Darren Collison set for himself for this season was for the Dallas Mavericks to win another NBA title.
“Before I even got here I want to be successful on this team as far as a winner,’’ Collison, the Mavs’ point guard, said. “Every game starting with the (opening night game against the Los Angeles) Lakers, all the way to our last game of the season, all the way throughout the playoffs, I want to win as much games as we can.
“I think the city deserves it, the organization deserves it and we need to be successful as far as winning. They won a championship the year before the lockout (in 2011) -- that’s what we’re graded on. We’re graded on a high level as far as winning.''
