DALLAS – Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took exception with those folks who were critical of forward Dirk Nowitzki for not having right knee surgery this past summer.
“He had no idea (he needed surgery),’’ Cuban said. “That’s ridiculous.
“I put those people in the moron category.’’
Nowitzki twice had his right knee drained in training camp after he began experiencing some swelling and soreness in the knee. Nowitzki underwent the surgery on Oct. 19 and is slated to miss six weeks.
